This afternoon Brastyl 2 and 3 went into the garden with a box of tarpaulins, bungee, para-cord and various fixtures and fittings. We gave the children free rein to construct what they wanted and let them set to. Mostly children wanted to make zip lines and shelters. There was some excellent co-operative work and the beginnings of problem solving. Before we do this again, we will have a sharing session to pass on what we learned. The most successful venture of the afternoon was the construction of a big top, where children enjoyed an impromptu circus performance.
