Laa mie dagh ooilley pheiagh! I am really excited to be joining the team at Bunscoill Ghaelgagh in September. I was one of the original members of Mooinjer Veggey when it started in the 90’s but sadly I was too old to attend the Bunscoill when it opened. I’ve had a lifelong connection to Manx music, language and culture and have loved sharing it with all the children I have worked with. I qualified as a primary teacher in 2015 and have taught in primary and secondary schools all over the island and abroad. I have spent most of my career in Year 6 at Peel Clothworkers’, where I ran a Manx Gaelic choir and a KS1 choir, but I have also taught in Finland on an exchange and in Nepal when I was travelling. If you’ve ever looked up in the sky at a paraglider then you’ve probably seen me and I know quite a few of you came to the Viking village and cheered for me on Tynwald Day. I can’t wait to meet everyone and I will see you all soon.
